Please can you provide any documentation as to where training is provided to London Underground gateline staff and also drivers of bus services overseen by TfL on acceptance of London Travelcards issued at Heathrow stations on Heathrow Express (blue) ticket stock.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require.

As previously advised, Travelcards issued by any other operator should be encoded to work the gates at all stations within the zones covered, so there should be no need for staff to check individual customers tickets, unless they have failed for some reason.

You may wish to contact the bus operators for any internal guidance they may hold regarding these travelcards.
