You asked

I would like all figures in respect of the number of immigrant PH/Uber drivers who have been granted a Private Hire Driver's license with the submission of a letter of good conduct as required by TFL from foreign applicants.

Thank you for your email received by us on 7 June 2017 asking for information about Private Hire drivers.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

 

I can confirm we do not hold the information you require. We do not record whether an applicant is an “immigrant” or “foreign” and are therefore unable to answer your question. Any applicant that has lived in a country other than the UK for one or more periods of three months or more, within the last three years, will be required to produce a Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the relevant non-UK country.

 

We may be able to answer a question in relation to licences granted with the submission of a letter of good conduct generally if you would like to resubmit your request, along with a timeframe in which you would like your request to cover.
