We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0727-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 July 2021, asking for information about Gatso type camera at Greystoke Gardens.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

  1. On what date was the camera decommissioned

In April 2017.

  1. Is this temporary or permanent

The camera was replaced as part of the Safety Camera Upgrade programme where sites were replaced with digital cameras where required. There are currently cameras 200m away and so there are no current plans to reinstall a new camera at that location.

  1. Please provide a copy of the relevant authorisation or provide a link to online access.
We do not hold this. You will have to contact the Metropolitan Police Service for this information.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
