Hi, is it possible to attain the annual passenger numbers for Canary Wharf station, ideally from 1992 until 2020. If possible, could you include the DLR, tube and Elizabeth Line stations. I am writing my bachelors thesis and would like to incorporate these numbers into my research.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29th May 2024 asking for information about passenger numbers at Canary Wharf station. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Is it possible to attain the annual passenger numbers for Canary Wharf station, ideally from 1992 until 2020. If possible, could you include the DLR, tube and Elizabeth Line stations. I am writing my bachelors thesis and would like to incorporate these numbers into my research.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
In regard to the Elizabeth Line, the line was not open in 2020 at Canary Wharf, and so there is no data for that service.
The data for the DLR and London Underground can be found in the attached spreadsheets. Note that you may need to expand the width of some columns to read the data in full.
