Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6 July 2021 asking for information about our IT infrastructure. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Laptop/desktop provider - HP and Microsoft
Number of devices (Laptops, desktops, workstations etc)
Approx 6000 laptops (inc Surface Pros)
Approx 3500 desktops
Approx 10,000 thin clients
Approx 9,000 iPads
Approx 9,000 iPhones
Contract end date/review date – No contract, these are purchased assets
Decision maker for this review – No contract renewal but ongoing product decisions approved by Head of Digital Workplace and Service Owner of End User Computing.
Teams contract end date – November 2022
Teams number of users – roughly 26,000 active users
