Thank you for your email received by us on 08 June 2017 asking for information on penalty fares in relation to Freedom Passes. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your request.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
Please kindly provide all information regarding the number, amounts and any other information held of all Penalty Fares issued SPECIFICALLY in relation to Freedom Passes, both Older Persons and Disabled. This may include (but not limited to); misuse or abuse of a Freedom Pass.
TfL does not hold all the information you require. Our reporting systems started capturing information in 2013 and we are therefore unable to provide any information prior to this. In addition current reporting systems only break down penalty fares information into categories relating to transferred pass and/or no photo card. We cannot break down this information into type of ticket or pass.
