1a) Could you please release information that details how many residential properties (Houses/Flats et al for habitation) are currently owned by TFL (And London undergorund and all TFL subsidiaries) or managed by or on behalf of TFL by it's own departments or outsourced management teams (i.e. Regency Holdings formerly Crown Estates etc)?
1b) How many of such properties are currently vacant?
2) How many current and ex-TFL employees (Including ex-Tube Lines/London Underground/Overground and any other TFL subsidiary) reside as tenants in residential property/commercial property owned by or managed by TFL and it's subsidiaries (London Underground et al)?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 May 2019 asking for information about TFL Property and Housing.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions and our answers are as follows:
1a) Could you please release information that details how many residential properties (Houses/Flats et al for habitation) are currently owned by TFL (And London underground and all TFL subsidiaries) or managed by or on behalf of TFL by it's own departments or outsourced management teams (i.e. Regency Holdings formerly Crown Estates etc)?
In total TfL currently has 97 residential properties.
1b) How many of such properties are currently vacant?
33 of the 97 properties are vacant, but are not currently available to let.
2) How many current and ex-TFL employees (Including ex-Tube Lines/London Underground/Overground and any other TFL subsidiary) reside as tenants in residential property/commercial property owned by or managed by TFL and it's subsidiaries (London Underground et al)?
At present, two residential properties are let to current employees, and five are let to former employees who have been in occupation for a number of years.
