Freedom Pass usage

Request ID: FOI-0471-2223
Date published: 16 June 2022

You asked

Please can you disclose, preferably by PDF if you are using an attachment, how the usage of the Freedom Pass in the period since the start of April 2022 compares with that between 24 February 2022 and the end of March. Trying to see if there is any indication of the cost of living crisis having a widespread impact on people using the pass to avoid increasing energy bills at home, April being when the energy price cap for consumers rose but also comparing to a period when coronavirus measures such as face coverings, that could potentially encourage or discourage travel compared to today, have already been lifted.
