Need evidence of bus diversion for test center appointment

Hi there, I had an appointment booked at a test centre and was on my way to get there on time, unfortunately the bus was suddenly redirected on diversion which caused my journey to lengthen as I had to walk to the test centre. Unfortunately the centre won't allow a refund nor allow me to book it again. Could you providece information about the 111 bus route heading to Hounslow between 2-3pm on the 18th of April 2023. Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4th May 2023 asking for information about the 111 bus route.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

“I had an appointment booked at a test centre and was on my way to get there on time, unfortunately the bus was suddenly redirected on diversion which caused my journey to lengthen as I had to walk to the test centre. Unfortunately the centre won't allow a refund nor allow me to book it again. Could you providece information about the 111 bus route heading to Hounslow between 2-3pm on the 18th of April 2023.”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

According to our records Kingsley Road, Lampton, was closed in both directions at the junction of Denbigh Road on 18 April 2023 at 10:30 for Thames Water works. Bus routes 111 and H28 operated on diversion until 16:10, as follows:

111 towards Kingston - From Lampton Road junction Spring Grove Road, right Lampton Road, right Bath Road, left Steve Biko Way, left  Staines Road, ahead Grove Road, right Bell Road, right Hanworth Road to line of route.
111 towards Heathrow - From Hanworth Road junction Grove Road, left Grove Road, right Bell Road, ahead Lampton Road to line of route.
H28 towards Bulls Bridge - From Spring Grove Road junction Kingsley Road, ahead Spring Grove Road, left Lampton Road, right Bath Road, left Steve Biko Way, left Staines Road, ahead Grove Road, right Bell Road, right Hanworth Road to line of route.
H28 towards Gillette Corner Tesco - From Hanworth Road junction Grove Road, left Grove Road, right Bell Road, ahead Lampton Road, right Spring Grove Road to line of route.
