Earlier this year/ late last year changes were made to access to roads from Balham High Road/ Balham Hill. Please provide the number of PCNS issued by TFL to vehicles turning into Alderbrook Road, SW12 from the main road. From our observations this restriction is frequently contravened.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 May 2021 asking for information about the number of PCNs issued for banned turn in Alderbrook Road SW12.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The no entry was implemented in September 2020 as part of the upgrade of Cycle Superhighway 7 (CS7) which was part of TfL’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
We are not currently issuing Penalty Charge Notices at this location, and have not issued any since the banned turn was implemented, however we are currently reviewing the feasibility of doing so.
