Thank you for your earlier responses in January. Please can you provide an update to my questions from earlier this year and your responses (of 18 January, copied below):
“The cost of the changes to Temporary C9 approved by LB Hounslow in summer 2021 between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane (yet to be implemented),
“TfL has not yet finalised costs with contractors for the works to the section between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane We will only know the final total cost for construction of this section once the scheme it has been fully constructed.”
Specifically:
Please can you advise if a cost for this section of temporary C9 between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane has been determined (including estimated costs)?
Please can you confirm whether the contract will be completed (and/or paid for) by LB Hounslow or TfL?
Please can you confirm when you expect the work to be completed?
Please can you provide the current estimate of the total cost, including tree removal and damage, of the section of Temporary C9 being implemented from Goldhawk Road to Chiswick Lane (including all traffic light work).

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 May 2022 asking for information about temporary Cycleway 9.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require. Please can you advise if a cost for this section of temporary C9 between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane has been determined (including estimated costs)? The current estimated costs for the section between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane are approximately £1m. The estimate includes several unknown factors such as utilities costs and temporary traffic management. The final cost will be known when construction is completed. Please can you confirm whether the contract will be completed (and/or paid for) by LB Hounslow or TfL? This section between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane will be paid by TfL and the construction will be managed by LB Hounslow using their contractors Hounslow Highways. Please can you confirm when you expect the work to be completed? The final construction programme for the section between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane has not been fixed by LB Hounslow. Once the programme is agreed, residents and businesses will be contacted by the Council with further details. Please can you provide the current estimate of the total cost, including tree removal and damage, of the section of Temporary C9 being implemented from Goldhawk Road to Chiswick Lane (including all traffic light work). The current estimated cost for the section between Goldhawk Road and Chiswick Lane is £3.3m.
