FOI request detail

Meetings with NCP

Request ID: FOI-0311-2122
Date published: 07 June 2021

You asked

Follow-up from FOI-2574-2021 1. Please furnish minutes of any meetings where TfL has discussed with NCP Ltd the proposed closure of Cockfosters Station Car Park and the construction of flats on the land. (It would be difficult to believe that such meetings would not be deemed formal and, as such, would presumably be minuted.) 2. You refer in your email to a tender process for a new contract. Please describe the scope/intended scope of this tender. (I can’t find anything on the TfL website.)

We answered

Our Ref:         FOI-0311-2122

Thank you for your request received on 13 May 2021 asking for information about Cockfosters Station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

1.         Please furnish minutes of any meetings where TfL has discussed with NCP Ltd the proposed closure of Cockfosters Station Car Park and the construction of flats on the land.
(It would be difficult to believe that such meetings would not be deemed formal and, as such, would presumably be minuted.)

We have provided all the minutes held between NCP and TfL in the timeframe stated that referenced Cockfosters.

TfL made NCP aware of our intention to develop the land adjacent to Cockfosters Underground station, and has kept NPC informed at appropriate junctures however its involvement in this stage of development is limited.

2.         You refer in your email to a tender process for a new contract. Please describe the scope/intended scope of this tender.
(I cannot find anything on the TfL website.)

TfL has recently published a Prior Information Notice which is available to the public and can be found here: https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/005338-2021.

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please feel free to contact me.

If you are considering submitting a further FOI request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
