Hi I'm trying to access the Journey Planner on the crossrail website to see how long my journey times are going to be when the line opens but nothing on the website seems to be showing any planner journey. Was wondering if you guys are able to see how long it'll take from Whitechapel to West Drayton would take on the new crossrail line.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 May 2022 asking for information about the Crossrail journey planner.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked: I'm trying to access the Journey Planner on the Crossrail website to see how long my journey times are going to be when the line opens but nothing on the website seems to be showing any planner journey.  I was wondering if you guys are able to see how long it'll take from Whitechapel to West Drayton would take on the new Crossrail line.

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Current journey times between stations in the west (Paddington - Reading) and the east (Liverpool Street – Shenfield) are available on the TfL Rail timetable pages of our website: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/tfl-rail/tfl-rail-timetables?intcmp=27614

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
As and when the different sections of the Elizabeth Line come into service, the journey planner tool on our website will include The Elizabeth line: https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/
