What impositions were thrust upon you by government when you requested money
Request ID: FOI-0271-2021
Date published: 22 June 2020
You asked
You requested a survival package of money from the government to keep operations going.
You then announced many changes to travel concessions and made adjustments to the congestion charge timings.
You advised that thisq was a consequence of impositions mace on you by the government.
Please advise exactly what the government required you to do as part of their loan conditions.
Did they merely advise you to increase income by whatever means or did they specifically demand
Congestion charge hours must increase and so must the cost.
Concession travel must be abolished and you must cut this out for youth travel and restrict times for travel for old age pensioners.
If they made these specific requests to you did they show you cost benefit studies to support these revenue increasing concepts.
If they did not ,did you undertake any modelling to determine the potential outcome from these changes.
Without justification models it would seem that to announce major changes would be financially and morally irresponsible.
Please advise who produced the models and the exact requirements of the government
