Hello, I am requesting under FoI for the specifications of the Crossrail / TfL Rail/ Elizabeth Line Class 345 and London Overground Class 710 unit specifications. Thank you.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 May 2018 and your clarification email of 16 May asking for technical diagrams of the Class 345 / 710s.  

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested for the Class 710s.  BTUK are the train designer and builder and they may be able to assist you further. Their website details are as follows: https://uk.bombardier.com/en/home.html

We do hold a design brochure for the 710s which shows, for example, the interior and exterior livery which we could provide, however please note that it is likely that some of the information contained in the brochure may have to redacted in accordance with section 38 of the FOI Act if you were to request this and it does not include any technical drawings as you had requested. I apologise that we are not able to assist you on this occasion.
