TfL Ref: FOI-0265-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 May 2021.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

(1) The number of instances where buses on route 267 arrived later than the timetabled arrival time at bus stop "RR" (Chiswick Lane) on Chiswick High Road during April 2019 and April 2021

(2) The cumulative total (in minutes & seconds) of the difference between the timetabled arrival time at bus stop RR and the actual arrival time for all delayed 267 buses during April 2019 and April 2021

Route 267, as any other high frequency route, is managed to run at equal intervals rather than adhering to the scheduled departure times.

The key high frequency measure is excess wait time (EWT) which represents the amount of time that a customer has had to wait in excess of the time that they should expect to wait based on the schedule. The EWT measurements are recorded at selected timing points equally spaced out along both directions. Please find the attached spreadsheet which contains the list of route 267 stops and timing points (towards Fulwell). Please note the EWT is the difference between actual wait time (AWT) and scheduled wait time (SWT).

The spreadsheet also contains the 267 daily performance in April 2019 and April 2021. The figures are based on both directions, all timing points and all time periods of each day.

You asked for data at stop RR – Chiswick Lane – 6153. As I mentioned above, the reliability performance is recorded at specified timing points. The closest to stop RR timing point is located at the preceding stop Stamford Brook Bus Garage – 1038.

We have also included EWT and probability of waiting figures at that location (V GR Q). The attached data is for April 2021 only. April 2019 detailed data is no longer available as our systems keep such data for 24 months only.

If you are considering submitting a further request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI/EIR requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.
