Thank you for your request received on 6 April 2018 asking for information about approved laboratories for drugs and alcohol screening.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked for:

1. A list of LU approved laboratories for Drugs and Alcohol screening.

The approved laboratories are as follows:
1. Alere (Abbott) Toxicology
2. Eurofins Forensic Services
3. Scientifics Services
4. Synergy Health Laboratories

2. Official policy and procedure publications and/or documentation that details the minimum requirements for laboratories to undertake the Drugs and Alcohol testing to meet London Underground (LU) requirements.
