How many stations managed by TFL have AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator)?

Could I please have a list of all the TFL stations (underground, overground and TFL rail) that have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)? For those stations that do not have one, are there any plans to put one in place? Thank you

Thank you for your email received by us on 05 April 2017 asking for information about Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:

Could I please have a list of all the TFL stations (underground, overground and TFL rail) that have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)?

The total number of machines on the network is 215. Please see the attached map that shows the location of all machines on the network. Please note that some of these AEDs are London Ambulance Service equipment.

For those stations that do not have one, are there any plans to put one in place?

There is currently no funding available to place additional AEDs in the immediate future. Options are being explored in collaboration with the London Ambulance Service to see if funds can be made available from other sources.
