Entry requirements
Five GCSEs grade A*-C or certified equivalent, in maths and English language and two A levels in any discipline. You must be 18 by 1 September 2016.

Salary
Salaries will differ according to the scheme, however, all our schemes offer a competitive package with the minimum London living wage

This apprenticeship is a route to:
A level 7 Higher Apprenticeship in HRM (underpinnned by the CIPD's Level 7 advanced diploma in HR management) - this is a recognised postgraduate qualification which focuses on working at a more strategic level. This could also be a route to a career in HR.

Joining us

Initially, you'll have a three-day induction based in London where you'll learn everything you need to know about us, your role and where you fit in. Following that, you'll begin an intensive development programme, designed to kickstart your career in HR.

The Higher Apprenticeship in Human Resource (HR) Management will provide you with a structured, comprehensive training programme, designed to introduce you to a variety of HR areas;  including but not limited to:

  • Professional practice in human resources
  • Resourcing and talent planning
  • Performance
  • Employment law

Working as part of the HR team, you'll support the core business priorities by contributing to the delivery of generalist and specialist HR services. Developing the skills and experience you need for a successful HR career through a combination of on-the-job and classroom training.

Placements
Placements on this apprenticeship are split into a 17-week placement and a 52-week placement.

17 weeks will be spent in:

  • HR Services - Customer Delivery
  • HR Specialist and HR Services (not CD)
  • HR Delivery - PMA support

52 weeks will be spent in HR delivery/change - HRBP support.

We're looking for highly motivated people with:

  • Strong inter-personal skills who have an interest in what makes a business successful,
  • An ability to work collaboratively and earn the trust and respect of colleagues
  • Good motivation to gain as much as they can from their placements

What you get out of it

Qualifications
When you complete this apprenticeship, you'll gain a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Applied Human Resources. You'lll also become a CIPD associate member with an opportunity to move into a permanent position within the HR department.
