Our role is to represent the interests of visitors to London travelling by coach, as well as ensuring coaches in the Capital have a minimal impact on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) and the wider road network. We also operate Victoria Coach Station, London's largest coach hub.
Routes on our bus network are tendered out but if you want to run a bus, coach or tours service outside of our network, you'll need to apply for a London Service Permit.
Tourist Coach Action Plan
The Tourist Coach Action Plan is being taken forward jointly by TfL and the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT).
It sets out actions that will:
- Give tourist coaches better access
- Ensure more flexible/smarter use of stopping and parking space
- Improve how coaches are perceived by the public
- Offer a more robust approach too discussing the challenges and opportunities for tourist coaches in London
