Other planned works taking place

Bank

BANK STATION: Major escalator replacement and lift refurbishment work is taking place at Bank. You may need to follow an alternative route through the station, which will be clearly signed. Between 0700 and 1000 on weekdays until late 2011 the Central line ticket hall operates as 'exit only'. Please follow signage for an alternative route to the Central line platforms. Until autumn 2011 there will be no step free lift access to the DLR platforms and a reduced escalator service between Bank station and the DLR. For the easiest route to/from street level and the DLR use Monument station. Advice if you arrive at Bank on the Waterloo & City line: For the DLR use the moving walkway and follow signs to the DLR via the Northern line ticket hall. For the Central line use the long subway from the platforms and not the moving walkway.
