Passengers travelling between central London and Heathrow should use the Central line to Ealing Broadway, change there for a replacement low-floor bus service to Boston Manor, and connect with the Piccadilly line

      Part Closed - Bakerloo, Northern and Waterloo & City line not stopping while we respond to a local power failure. Jubilee line stopping as normal and tickets valid on local buses.

    • Bank

      From Thursday 18 April until late 2013, as part of the Tube improvement plan both escalators leading to the Northern line ticket hall are being replaced. Passengers using the Northern line ticket hall must use the four large-capacity lifts to/from platform level. Extra staff will be available to minimise delays, however, there may be queues at busy times. Passengers exiting from the Northern or DLR platforms can avoid the queues if they follow signs to the District and Circle lines and leave via Monument station.     • Bank

      Reduced escalator service until the end of November 2013.

    • Camden Town

      Saturday, between 1000 and 1730, and Sunday, between 1000 and 1300, no down escalator. Access to platforms is via the spiral staircase. Sunday, exit and interchange, only, between 1300 and 1730.

    • Canary Wharf

      Reduced escalator service until late august 2013.

    • Clapham North

      Reduced escalator service until the end of May 2013.

    • Earl's Court

      Reduced escalator service until late July 2013.

    • Hammersmith (Dist & Pic lines)

      There is no step-free access at Hammersmith (District & Piccadilly) station from 13 May until late December. The nearest available stations with step-free access to the District or Piccadilly lines are Acton Town and Earl's Court.

    • Hampstead Station

      Reduced lift service until November 2014 due to refurbishment work.

    • Heathrow Central (1-2-3)

      FLYING FROM HEATHROW? You are advised to check in as early as possible. Check the instructions on your ticket, from your travel agent or booking website or with your airline directly. Before travelling visit www.baa.com/heathrow or contact your airline to confirm which terminal you require. Please note that Oyster Cards, Travelcards and Freedom Passes are not valid on Heathrow Express train services, or on the Heathrow Connect train service between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow.

    • Highbury & Islington

      No down escalator service until mid October while refurbishment work takes place. Access to the Victoria line and National Rail platforms is via the stairs from the ticket hall. From 0800 to 0945 and 1700 to 1830 you should allow up to an extra 10 minutes to reach the platforms. To avoid the queues or If you find using the stairs difficult, or are travelling with luggage or pushchairs you may find it easier to start your journey at Holloway Road, Caledonian Road or Angel stations.

    • Highgate

      Reduced escalator service until early June 2013.

    • Lambeth North

      From 2 January 2013 - July 2013 The Imperial War Museum will be closing for 6 months due to major redevelopment work.

    • Leicester Square

      Reduced escalator service until the end of May 2013.

    • Russell Square

      Each of the lifts at Russell Square station are being refurbished one at a time. This means that queues to enter and exit the station are likely, especially at busy times. To avoid the queues please enter or exit at Holborn which is a short walk to Russell Square area. Maps are available at Holborn station showing the simple walking route.

    • Vauxhall

      Reduced escalator service until early November 2013.

    • Victoria Bus Station

      Work is underway on the Victoria Station Upgrade and there is a one-way system to enter and exit the Victoria line ticket hall. As the works progress other routes through the station may also be subject to change. If you are travelling to London on National Rail services you can save time and avoid queuing in the ticket hall by purchasing your Underground travel at your station of origin. Alternatively, use the Transport for London Travel Information Centre located in the National Rail concourse opposite platform seven. This work is part of the Tube Improvement plan and is scheduled to be complete in 2018.
