London is growing faster than any other UK city. But this rapid expansion isn't without its unique transport challenges. How do we meet the needs created by more people and more jobs? How do we make transport less polluting, more sustainable and more accessible? How do we enable the efficient movement of people and freight today?

Working in Surface Transport, in London Buses, London Streets or other directorates, these are just some of the questions you'll help us to answer.

We'll also support you to become a member of a professional body, such as the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT), the Transport Planning Society (TPS) or the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) - and to work towards a formal professional qualification with them.

The first two years are usually spent in four placements of six months. In your third year you'll no longer be on the graduate scheme but you will be offered a permanent role in one of the TfL Surface teams while being allowed to complete your MSc.
