Please can you confirm the dates of when the Electric Vehicles for bus routes E2 & E8 will enter service? If a date can not be provided, can you provide a period. Are you also able to confirm if the vehicles ordered for these routes will be operated on routes 245 & 263 before the new Brentford bus garage opens?
Please advise on when the new Brentford bus garage operated by Metroline will commence operation.
Has the PVR for routes W7, U1, U2 & U3 been confirmed for the new contracts? If so, can you please share the changes? If not, can you please share why the PVR for these contracts are subject to change?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27 April 2024 asking for information about bus services.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
Please can you confirm the dates of when the Electric Vehicles for bus routes E2 & E8 will enter service? If a date can not be provided, can you provide a period. Are you also able to confirm if the vehicles ordered for these routes will be operated on routes 245 & 263 before the new Brentford bus garage opens?
We currently do not have a date or period when Routes E2 and E8 will convert to Electric operation.
Contrary to previous plans it is no longer planned that the electric vehicles for Routes E2 and E8 will operate on Routes 245 & 263 before the new Brentford Garage will open
Please advise on when the new Brentford bus garage operated by Metroline will commence operation.
We have not been advised of a date when the new Brentford Garage will open, but we currently understand that it will be later this year.
Has the PVR for routes W7, U1, U2 & U3 been confirmed for the new contracts? If so, can you please share the changes? If not, can you please share why the PVR for these contracts are subject to change?
The Peak Vehicle Requirement for the new Route W7 contract will be 11. The PVR for the new U1/U2 and U3 contracts will be confirmed once the outcome of consultation into the proposed restructuring of those routes is published.
