Champions League final

The UEFA Champions League Final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1 June.

From Thursday 30 May to Sunday 2 June, the Champions Festival will be taking place across numerous sites in central London including:

  • Trafalgar Square 
  • Regent Street
  • Somerset House
  • The South Bank area
  • Potters Field Park

Advice for travelling around London

  • On Saturday 1 June public transport is likely to be very busy, particularly the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. Seek alternative travel routes
  • On Saturday 1 June some stations are expected to be very busy. These include Baker Street, Bond Street, Canary Wharf, Charing Cross, Embankment, Marble Arch, Waterloo, Westminster, Wembley Park and Wembley Central
  • Some short-term safety measures such as queuing, closures, trains non-stopping or changes to the way people enter or exit a station may be necessary
  • From Wednesday 29 May until Sunday 2 June there will be road closures and changes to how some buses and Cycleways operate in central London

  • Embankment Pier will be closed on Saturday 1 June
  • If your destination is not in central London, you will have a quicker and more comfortable journey if you choose routes that avoid central London

Advice for attending the Champions Festival

Use public transport to get to the Champions Festival sites. The nearest stations are: 

  • Trafalgar Square (Charing Cross or Leicester Square stations)
  • Regent Street (Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street stations)
  • Somerset House (Temple, Holborn and Charing Cross stations)
  • Potters Field (London Bridge and Tower Hill stations) 

Advice for ticket holders

  • There are several ways to get to Wembley. Plan your journey ahead of time and check before you travel. Parts of the transport network will be very busy. Leave plenty of time to get to the venue
  • We strongly advise supporters to arrive at Wembley 4 hours before kick-off. Additional security and ticket checks will be in operation outside Wembley Stadium. Allow sufficient time to get through all checkpoints
  • There is no public parking at Wembley Stadium. Only drive if you have pre-booked accessible parking
  • We expect people will have to queue to enter stations after the game
  • Night tube will be running on Saturday 1 June 

Travelling to or from the airports 

  • Use public transport to travel to and from the airport
  • There are no direct train services between central London and Luton Airport on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June due to planned engineering works
  • There are no Elizabeth line services between Paddington and Abbey Wood and between Whitechapel and Stratford on Saturday 1 June due to planned engineering works
