Changes to buses from Saturday 25 May 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 25 May

The temporary timetable will be removed from 24 hour route 6 with the service returning to run every 7-8 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. The night service will continue to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

The temporary timetable will be removed from 24 hour route 13 with the service returning to run every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. The night service will continue to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 40 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 9-10 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays, every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 16 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change to the frequency after 1900 each day. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during the northbound closure of Farringdon Street between Ludgate Circus and Farringdon Station.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 44 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be removed from 24 hour route 52 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. The night service will continue to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on 24 hour route 57 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes between 0700-1900 on Monday to Fridays and 1000-1900 on Saturdays & Sundays. No change to the frequency at any other time. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during gas main works on Kingston Hill.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 170 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 195 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 14 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 17 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change to the frequency after 2000 each day. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys following the introduction of roadworks on South Road in Southall.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 201 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 17 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, to every 22 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 32 minutes during the evening on all days of the week. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during gas main works in Mitcham Town Centre.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on 24 hour route 213 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13-14 minutes between 0700-1900 on Monday to Fridays and 1000-1900 on Saturdays & Sundays. No change to the frequency at any other time. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during gas main works on Kingston Hill.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 226 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 21 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during HS2 works in the Park Royal area.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 270 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 14 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during gas main works in Mitcham Town Centre.

Route 272 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 350 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. The last bus from Hayes to Heathrow Terminal 5 will depart 5 minutes later at 2400 on all days of the week to better connect with an arriving Elizabeth line service from Central London at Hayes & Harlington station.

The temporary timetable will be removed from 24 hour route 390 with the service returning to run every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. The night service will continue to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Route 440 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 482 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 22 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 32 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change to the frequency after 2000 each day. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys following the introduction of roadworks on South Road in Southall.

Route E1 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels. Buses will now run every 10 minutes during the daytime and every 12 minutes during the evening on all days of the week. The early morning frequency will be increased to every 12 minutes from first bus until 0600 on Monday to Fridays and 0800 on Saturdays. The times of the first buses on Sundays will be changed to bring them in line with Monday to Saturdays with first buses now timed to depart Greenford for Ealing Broadway at 0428 and Ealing Broadway for Greenford at 0450. Route E1 will run every 12 minutes from first to last bus on Sundays. Route E1 will be operated by Metroline from this date.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route E5 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 21 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change to the frequency after 2000 each day. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys following the introduction of roadworks on South Road in Southall.

Route E6 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Route E6 will be operated by Transport UK from this date.

Route E11 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route H32 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 16 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. No change to the frequency after 2000 each day. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys following the introduction of roadworks on South Road in Southall.

Bank Holiday Monday 27 May 2024

A Sunday timetable will operate on all day bus routes and the normal Monday night timetable on night buses on bank holiday Monday 27 May.

Routes 327, 347, 375, 377, 383, 385, 389, 399, 424, 467, 549, H3, K4, K5, R2, R5, R8, R10, S3, SL6 and U10 will not operate on this day.

Long term diversions

Routes Affected: 57, 65, 71, 81, 85, 110, 111, 131, 153, 213, 216, 222, 281, 285, 350, 360, 371, 394, 406, 411, 418, 452, 465, 481, 671, 698, C1, E2, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, N21, N65, N87, N137, R68, R70, U1, U3 and U5.

Route 394 is currently on diversion towards Homerton Hospital due to the closure of Wimbourne Street. Route 394 is diverting from Cropley Street via Eagle Wharf Road, New North Road, Baring Street, Bridport Place and Poole Street to New North Road. No stops will be missed. Buses towards Islington Angel will not be diverting and will remain on normal line of route. The diversion will now be in place until Summer 2024.

Kingston Cromwell Road bus station is closed until Summer 2024. Buses which normally stop in the bus station or on Cromwell Road are serving temporary stops, diverting or stopping short of their normal destinations. Stops A1 to A16 and Z1 as well as stop R on Wood Street are closed for the duration of the works. Two new temporary bus stops with shelters are located to the east of the bus station on Cromwell Road. Beech Street in the Barbican area is currently closed westbound due to building works. Route 153 towards Finsbury Park is diverting after leaving Liverpool Street Bus Station with buses going via London Wall and Aldersgate Street to Barbican Station to get back on route. The stops on Moorgate and Chiswell Street will not be served. There is no change to the route towards Finsbury Park. This closure will be in place until November 2024.

Due to road layout changes at Kensal Rise Station by the local borough, route 452 is suspended between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station until further notice. Passengers should use route 52 between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station. Route 452 continues to run as normal between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Vauxhall Bus Station every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Due to the collapse of the carriageway on Station Approach at West Drayton Station buses are unable to serve the bus stops directly outside the northern entrance to West Drayton Station. For bus routes 222, 350, 698, U3 and U5 passengers should use bus stops H for southbound buses and stop G for northbound buses (both named Ferrers Road) on Station Road which is a short walk from the Warwick Road entrance to West Drayton station. Route U1 will set down at bus stop C and pick up from bus stop D on Horton Road. These arrangements will continue until the works to rectify the issues with the carriageway have been resolved.

Due to the damage caused by a recent fire, Slough Bus Station is currently closed with bus route 81 unable to serve the Bus Station. Buses are terminating at bus stop H on Wellington Street opposite Tesco and picking up passengers from bus stop PQ outside Lloyds Bank on Slough High Street.
